How to see a dermatologist?
You must obtain a consultation from a family doctor or an NP who will forward it to the CRDS.
How do I know how long it will take to get my appointment?
File priority is determined by the medical data provided by your doctor. Once your request is transmitted to the CRDS, our team can no longer track your progress on the waiting list. For any questions regarding your rank or the expected wait time, we invite you to contact the CRDS directly at 819-564-5210, as they are the only ones who hold this administrative information.
Is the Granby Dermatology Clinic a private clinic?
No, we are not a private clinic. The care offered is covered by the Quebec health insurance plan.
Can I pay for a consultation with a dermatologist if I do not have a referral?
No, not at the Granby dermatology clinic. As it is a clinic affiliated with the RAMQ, all new consultations must come from a family doctor or an NP and be processed by the CRDS.
