BIOPSIES AND OTHER PROCEDURES
I have had a skin biopsy or surgical procedure, and I have concerns about the appearance of my wound. What should I do?
I had a biopsy, but I don't have the result yet. Should I be worried?
Before we can give you the result, the samples taken must be analyzed by a pathologist and then the results must be forwarded to the clinic. You can therefore expect a delay of a few weeks. In some more complex diseases, the sample must be sent to a tertiary center for more in-depth analysis, which can take up to a few months. However, if you have not heard anything after two months, you can contact the clinic.
